Dedication to Clareene Wharry
05-10-10

The May 1st, 2010 Life in the West conference and our 15th year are dedicated to the enduring memory of Clareene Wharry the founding Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman of the Andrus Center.

During a long and distinguished career as an educator, as a dedicated case worker for Sen. Frank Church and as a Special Assistant to Gov. Andrus, Clareene Wharry was the ultimate professional. Deeply committed to the ideals of the Center, Ms. Wharry was passionate about conservation, a defender of human rights, a lover of Idaho and a proponent of good government. She brought a standard of excellence to all she touched and her work, compassion and decency touched so many.

We remember and applaud her countless contributions to the Andrus Center, to Idaho and to her many friends who miss her greatly.
