THE FUTURE OF OUR PUBLIC LANDS II
March 24, 1999
Boise State University
Boise, Idaho

In the year following the first conference on federal land management policy, The Future of Our Public Lands, the Andrus Center, as promised, convened a follow-up conference with the hope that it would continue the search for meaningful solutions to the many management policy problems and look closely at what progress was being made within the various land agencies. The directors of the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service, returned, as they had promised, and were joined at this conference by Jamie Clark, director of the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

A summary of the conference findings was published as was a transcript of the proceedings. Both are available in printed form from the Andrus Center or click the link below to download a .pdf version.
