John C. Freemuth, Ph.D.: Senior Fellow
Professor of Political Science and Public Administration, Boise State University.
Senior Fellow at the Andrus Center for Public Policy and Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Boise State University. Dr. Freemuth’s research and teaching emphasis is in natural resource and public land policy and administration. He is the author of numerous articles and one book on aspects of natural resource policy, and he has worked on many projects with federal and resource bureaus, including the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service at the federal level and the Departments of Fish and Game, Parks and Recreation, and Environmental Quality of the state of Idaho. He is currently the chair of the Bureau of Land Management's National Science Advisory Board. Dr. Freemuth holds a BA degree from Pomona College and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University.
